I also made a few mug rugs in flowery red and green. I somehow forgot to take pictures and only have this one (the mug rugs are no longer in my possession):
As I mentioned in my my post Mug Rugs Made with New and Recycled Fabrics – white foundation, these mug rugs were sewn with the quilt-as-you-go technique. The bindings were made with the backing, sewn by hand on the front.
I have made 28 mugs rugs in total and do not plan of making any more for some time. 😉

I made those charming quilt magnets with the Four Patch Mini Mini Quilts I have sewn during the Make Modern Magazine Mini Mini Quilt Challenge (on Instagram #miniminiquilts). It was fun to work on this project, but, in the end, what use could they have? A few persons suggested I make magnets and I found this idea to be a very good one.
