Single Rose Cards – Made with Crafted Appliqué

Single Rose Cards - made with crafted appliqué - francenadeau.com

While making the Single Rose Mini Mini Quilts with Lara’s Crafted Appliqué method (Buzzin Bumble), it occurred to me that those roses would make beautiful cards. I have various pre-cut cardboard cards and I found two in the right colors and sizes. With the Crafted Appliqué method, it was easy to sew the flowers unto the cards (with my sewing machine), as all the appliqué pieces stayed well into place while I was sewing. Needless to say that I can not use pins with cardboard. Easy and fast. 🙂

The pattern for the roses comes from my pattern Tea in the Rose Garden, which could be found in my Craftsy Pattern Store.
