Hiding Threads – Technique for embroidery and quilting

The other day, while quilting a log cabin block with specialty stitches that I have on my sewing machine, I ran out of bobbin thread. Not the bottom bobbin, but the top bobbin. That has never happened to me before. Contrary to what happens when you run out of thread in the bottom bobbin, you notice it right away. You do not stitch without stitching. But I was left with two threads that had to be hidden and secured. Therefore, I took my hand-stitching kit and used the opportunity to make a little tutorial.
