I have used a light green fabric featuring white embroidery. A light polyester perfectly suitable for a summer day. A light green that has some yellow in it and that is quite hard to photography, I must say.
I like to have coordinated accessories. I guess I am a little on the old-fashion side.
Contrary to the pink scarf, for which I folded the edges and sew them with a straight stitch, I sew the edges with a tight zigzag. But, as for the pink scarf, I sew a few beads at the corners to add some texture.
I lined the clutch with white cotton. This polyester being quite flimsy, I have inserted cotton batting (for quilting) between the inside fabric and the outside fabric. The clutch would have been too pliable without it.
I made a little wristlet for the clutch with cotton yarn. And added a few flowers with tiny shiny beads. To make this clutch, I followed my own tutorial for a white clutch that I have written some time ago. You can find the tutorial here.
