This hat was made by following a pattern by Bernat. It is called Bernat Satin Cable Hat (free). I entertained the idea of making the cowl with cables. But that did not last long. I chose to alternate ribs (the same width as on the hat) and jersey. Much simpler.

  1. Gorgeous colour! I love them both, but my knitting is not so good …. one day I might finish one of my projects! I really love the cowl especially, it looks simple enough even for me, and I am almost tempted to start knitting!!!!!
Well done France! Have a great weekend!

    • Thanks a lot, Barbara! I also love this color. The cowl certainly doesn’t require a master in knitting. It’s very easy. I’m glad to read you’re almost tempted. It’s a first step toward actually doing it… 😉
